Fill out the form to sign up. You can participate as an individual or a pair. If you do not have your own partner, you can indicate that you’d like to be matched with another participant on the form. Once you sign up, you will confirm your entry via email.
2. Write Music About An Important Cause
Songs Against Silence strives to help young people learn about important problems and create meaningful music to spread awareness. Each competition has a different theme.
3. Submit For A Chance To Win
Oftentimes young songwriters are overlooked. Songs Against Silence offers High School and College students the chance to be acknowledged and rewarded for their talents by professional songwriters and musicians.
Virtual Songwriting Competitions
Young people ages 14-22 are invited to participate in a two-week long competition where they can attend any Songs Against Silence song-writing classes, meet other songwriters, and submit their song for virtual judging.
Participants have the opportunity to win awards, gain skills through mentorship, connect with important causes, and meet other like-minded song-writers.
